Defenitely the best file editor Ive ever used. Version 2 is almost perfect. I do realy like FTP support and pages syncing. Moreover suport is juest genius. They helped me a lot with my unusualy problem. Must have!!!!

I was looking for replacement for TotalCommander on MAC I knew that this program is not a copy of TotalCommancer before I bought it and I have relied on opinions from internet and…. I expected much much more… YES this is better than finder but 10% in my opinion. lack of 99% of TC features is really disappointing here. - No seach through files (text in files) On My computer this function just desnt work. - No real directory comparison / file comparison. - there is somthing like synchrinization but it doesnt check the content of the file neither allow to compare files by itself or open them from the view - so in tact this is useless feature. - Standard opening directory start like Alt+F1 Alt+F2 - should open same direcory while you select same drive (no way here) - No way to change the file name during copying like F5 - no coloring of file names - very basic copy works , dont expect "advenced" warings and options, F8 just delete and F5 just copy. space just view photos (but no way to move to the next photo - open and close one by one - amazing logic)  This software have just like 5 funciotns THIS IS VERY VERY BASIC software and not worth the price. perhaps 5$ would be good price for this. but not 18$.

I have version 2.5.9 and still, sometimes, just after I run it, application just freezes out my entire system.

Latest version of Forklift (2.5.9) still freeze everything on OS X 10.9. I should migrate to Trasmit :(

This version and previous for that matter cause mac to freeze and ultimately only way out is to reboot. Sadly this wasn’t fixed for some time. I strongly recommend to get another client like Transmit. Apparently BinaryNights is not interested in faultess product just to rip you off..

Definitely the best files manager fo os x. olny windows total commander is better…

How to set timeout for ftp connection? I do not see any advanced options available in current version.

This was once a great file manager. However, this and previous version result in the whole mac freezing and completely unresponsive. I did contact support about this issue quite some time ago, however, they apparently don’t feel like fixing this.

When you want use this app for ftp, better find another. ForkLift very often showing folders on FTP as empty when to example Cyberduck show and download without problems this same folders! Not wort buying for FTP. There was no update over half year!

Unfortunately after previous thourough uninstallation with AppCleaner.

Finally fixed startup on El Cap!

Generally speaking this is a good S/W however I noticed that in current release a 7-zip compression is missing. How is it possible, is it due to El Capitan or what’s the problem? Can you bring it back?

I saw the update on yours web site. But still no update in App Store. Sad :( In 2.5.9 i have some problems with CPU usage when I’m upload files to the server. Hope this issue will be fixed in 2.6. Also it is a best file manager for MacOS X ever. 10x!

I have my Synology NAS and sometimes when I just turn on my laptop and try to connect to NAS share in Forklift it just hangs so I need to hard-reboot. No issues with Finder, so problem is clearly in Forklift.
